Rental conditions / payment conditions
The rental property is fully furnished, equipped, and equipped. Bed linens/sheets and towels are included in the price. The tenant receives a front door/apartment key for the duration of the rental period.
In case of loss, the landlord must be reimbursed for the cost of replacing it.

Rental Period, Arrival and Departure

  1. Arrival is from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. Please inform us of your arrival time at least one hour in advance to arrange key handover. (Phone: +49 170 7667382 or +49 7742 85015-22 or by email to info@klettgaublick.de)
  2. Departure is no later than 10:00 AM on the day of departure, but no earlier than 8:00 AM.
  3. In exceptional cases, and especially during the off-season, other departure times are possible by prior arrangement. Please discuss the exact departure time with us on site. Upon departure, the apartment must be left clean and dry, as found. The dishwasher must be emptied and cleaned in a timely manner. Otherwise, the apartment must be left in a clean and tidy condition, and all trash must be disposed of. We will perform a thorough final cleaning. You are responsible for cleaning yourself during the rental period, including the balcony. The departure time must be communicated to the landlord at least one day before departure so that the apartment can be inspected and the keys can be handed over.

Rental price and payment method (EUR), general

The final price below includes all additional costs such as water/hot water, central heating, electricity, final cleaning, and VAT. There are no additional costs. A security deposit is not required.

Payment Terms

After signing the rental agreement, a deposit of 25% of the total costs is due within 10 days. The remaining amount is to be paid to the same account no later than six weeks before the start of the rental period. If less than six weeks elapse between the signing of the contract and the start of the rental period, the entire amount is to be transferred immediately after the contract is signed. If the tenant is more than two weeks late with payment, the landlord is entitled to terminate the contract without notice and to rent the property to someone else.

Cancellation and interruption of stay

  1. If the tenant cancels the contract before the start of the rental period without naming a replacement tenant who will enter into the contract under the same conditions, the following pro rata rents (excluding final cleaning and additional costs) must be paid as compensation, taking into account the saved expenses, provided that re-letting is not possible:
    Termination

    • Up to 4 weeks before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
    • Up to 2 weeks before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
    • In case of non-commencement, 100% of the rental price
  2. Nevertheless, the landlord will endeavor to re-let the property.
    In all cases, a processing fee of EUR 45.00 will be charged; this also applies to rebookings.
  3. In the event of late arrival or early departure, the tenant remains obligated to pay the full rental price. No refunds will be given.
  4. Cancellations or terminations can only be made in writing. The date of receipt of the notification by the landlord is decisive.
  5. The risk of non-arrival can be covered by travel cancellation insurance. Such insurance is not included in the rental price and must be purchased by the tenant at their own expense.

Liability and obligations of the tenant

  1. The rental property, including the furniture and other items located therein, must be treated with care. The tenant must instruct persons accompanying and/or visiting them to exercise due care. The tenant is liable for any culpable damage to the rental property, the furniture, or other items in the rental property caused by them or persons accompanying them. This also applies to the laundry room and the communal outdoor area. The landlord does not provide insurance in this regard.
  2. Defects that exist upon taking over the rental property and/or arise during the rental period must be reported to the landlord immediately.
  3. Keeping animals in the rental property or its outdoor area is not permitted. The ban on keeping animals also applies to visitors.
  4. The tenant undertakes to comply with the house rules, which are available in the rental property.
  5. Cars may only be parked on the path in front of the apartments for loading and unloading purposes. Otherwise, a signposted private parking space is available free of charge directly on our premises.
  6. A rental unit may not be occupied by more people than designated and registered. Infants and babies must also be registered. Visits by day guests must be registered with the landlord in advance.
Hausordnung

Dear guests, welcome to Klettgaublick GbR at Forststraße 11. We wish you a pleasant stay. This folder contains important tips and useful information. Please read it carefully! This will save you and us a lot of time and perhaps even trouble.

Of course, you are also welcome to ask us in person; just contact us (phone: 0170 / 7667382).

Arrival

Upon arrival, you can park your car directly in front of the house to unload. Afterward, please park it in the parking lot next to the house.

Departure / Check-out

We ask that you check out promptly by 10:00 a.m. and return the key to us during the final inspection. Please call us at least one day in advance to confirm your departure time. Please inform us of any broken items/appliances, missing items, and any damage you may have caused, also in the interest of our subsequent guests. Please leave the apartment tidy, free of trash, etc., swept clean, with the dishes washed and the dishwasher emptied. Please also empty and clean the ashtrays used outside. Please review the “Departure Checklist” before departure.

Visitors/day guests

Please inform us if you are expecting day guests. They are also not permitted to bring pets. Visitors are not permitted to stay overnight.

Storage options

Please do not leave bicycles and other bulky items in the stairwell, but rather in the designated garage at the building. The garage is not locked; storage is at your own risk.

Wash

There is a washing machine in the laundry room. You can also use the provided clothes racks for drying. Clothes pegs are also available in the laundry room. Please remove laundry promptly after the wash cycle so other guests don’t have to wait. Please leave the laundry room clean and tidy.

Garbage and storage room

Garbage containers for household waste, paper waste, glass and plastic packaging (yellow bag) can be found in the garage in the building.

Cleaning in between

n the basement, you’ll find a vacuum cleaner, broom, mop, other cleaning utensils, clothes rack, and clothespins available for loan. Please treat them with care and put them away after use.

Holiday apartments

During your stay, please ventilate the apartment regularly to prevent mold growth. When leaving the apartment, please be sure to close the windows (as a burglar alarm!). Smoking is prohibited in the apartments! Smoking is permitted on the balconies and outdoors, but please dispose of cigarette butts in the ashtrays and not on the property or balconies. Please do not bring any items from the apartment outside. You are responsible for cleaning the apartment during your rental period. Cleaning supplies can be found in the basement.

Balkony

On the balcony, you’ll find a garden table and chairs, and cushions are on the shelf.

Outdoor facility

The outdoor area is available to all guests and tenants. Please treat it with care.

WIFI

Our free Wi-Fi hotspot provides internet access in the apartments. The access code can be found in the Wi-Fi usage agreement, which you must complete and sign. The password for both networks (“Klettgaublick-OG” and “Klettgaublick-EG” is klettgaublick2018).

Shopping

ou can do your shopping about 2 km from here, in Erzingen (towards Schaffhausen). There you’ll find an EDEKA supermarket and the discount stores Penny and Netto. A DM drugstore is also located there, as well as a pharmacy. Erzingen also has a Volksbank and a Sparkasse branch with ATMs.
